The Commons Shopping Center is Breaking Ground! Opus West, the contractor building The Shoppes at Chino Hills is busy again with another Chino Hills project. Ground is breaking for The Commons Shopping Center at Chino Hills Parkway and Ramona Ave. The anchors will be a 170,000 Sq. Ft. Lowe's, an Ayers 200 room hotel, and the Toys R Us/Babies R Us relocating from the Pomona location at the 60 and 71 freeways just south of Garey Ave. The Commons Center will also host five restaurants including, T.G.I Fridays, Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ, Olive Garden, Pei Wei and the Corner Bakery.
